The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp (Alfred Kropp Adventures)

The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp (Alfred Kropp Adventures) - 'Richard Yancey', 'Rick Yancey' I won this one here at Goodreads. I think it was an okay story line. My daughter also read it and she enjoyed more than I did. I thought it could have went deeper into the main characters story. All in all I read it and may pick up the next one.

The Trail: A Tale about Discovering God's Will

The Trail: A Tale about Discovering God's Will - Ed Underwood I won this book here at goodreads. I thought this was a simple little book, an easy quick read. Well that was all true but the thoughts that have been generated by the book have been all but simple. I find myself understanding the concepts in the book more each day.

World's End

World's End - Jake Halpern, Peter Kujawinski I actually like this book better than the first. I think, it was because I knew their characters and their individual personalities. I have already started the last book of the series.

Dormia

Dormia - Jake Halpern, Peter Kujawinski I think this book would be a good read for young guys. It is interesting and does not have a love interest as of yet at least. I enjoyed the idea of getting things done while I sleep. I wish I was Dormian. lol

Hush, Hush

Hush, Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick I like this book but am really looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Feel like I just got sucked in to the story and it was over. I am eager to see the relationship develop.

Dancer, Daughter, Traitor, Spy

Dancer, Daughter, Traitor, Spy - Elizabeth Kiem I won this book on Goodreads. I was excited about the idea of A Russian themed book for young people. I must say though the Russian words for items and such sometimes lost me a bit. I feel like the author rushed the story and did not let me sink deep enough into the characters that she had introduced to me. Maybe it is because it is going to be a series and she wants to develop them as the story advances. All in all I liked the book and would probably pick up the next one to see where the characters and their story go from here.

The Maze Runner

The Maze Runner - James Dashner I really liked this book and the rest of the series. It made wonder what i would do if I was enduring all of it. I could see the world that the author wanted me to see. I could feel the inward and outward wounds of the characters. I would recommend this book.

Blast of the Dragon's Fury

Blast of the Dragon's Fury - L.R.W. Lee I received this as an ebook from the author. I really like the concept of the story. I just wish, I could have got to know the personalities of the characters more. I wanted to see the boys explain more of the differences in their time periods. Maybe this happens as the books continue. I wanted to soak up the story a little longer. Thought it could have not rushed the points so fast. Will I read the others? Yes, I like the story enough to see how it plays out.

Family Reunion

Family Reunion - Caroline B. Cooney Cute, light, summer read.

Part of Me

Part of Me - Kimberly Willis Holt Think it was okay but could have been great. Thought I missed out on the best part of each story. With trying to get all the generations in, the author missed the chance to let us fall in love with each time period. Would have rather seen this be a series with each book going deeper into the characters lives.

Billy Bones: Tales From The Secrets Closet

Billy Bones: Tales From The Secrets Closet - Christopher Lincoln, Avi Ofer This was way to lame of a story. Loved the thought of skeleton's hiding secrets but was let down by the plot and other characters.

Peter Pan in Scarlet

Peter Pan in Scarlet - Geraldine McCaughrean, Scott M. Fischer, J.M. Barrie Thought the story was okay. I liked it better than the original one. Just would rather seen the characters be stringer.

Peter Pan

Peter Pan - J.M. Barrie, Michael Hague Like others on here, I did not care for this. LIke the light heartedness of what I thought Peter Pan was all about, The Disney idea is much better than the inspiration it was drawn from. Think the book skipped around and never answered a lot of the story line.

Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World

Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World - Jane McGonigal A new look about games. I was more interested on how it made me think of reality. We are missing community and are finding it in games.

Griffin's Castle

Griffin's Castle - Jenny Nimmo I am a big fan of Nimmo but this book just left me disappointed. I love the way she write but the story just seemed way to forced and lacked the charm in her other books. Would recommend Charlie Bone to see her true talent.

A Finders-Keepers Place

A Finders-Keepers Place - Ann Haywood Leal Think the topic is way over the age of the readers, which would pick up this book. I thought the story did not draw up in a conclusion that felt finished.
